About the Role

As a Formworker, you’ll work as part of an experienced site team delivering formwork and associated construction activities across a diverse range of projects.

Depending on your experience, you may be involved in everything from site preparation and set-out through to constructing, installing and stripping formwork for slabs, footings, walls and other structures.

You’ll also work closely with the wider site team during reinforcement installation and concrete pours to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

We’re looking for people who can work well within a team, follow plans and instructions, maintain high standards of workmanship and contribute to a safe and productive site.

What You’ll Do

• Set up, construct, install and strip formwork.
• Build formwork for slabs, footings, walls and other structures.
• Read and work from construction drawings, plans and specifications.
• Measure, cut and assemble formwork materials accurately.
• Assist with reinforcement installation and preparation for concrete pours.
• Support the site team during concrete pours where required.
• Carry out general site preparation and construction activities.
• Safely operate hand and power tools.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas.
• Work closely with Supervisors, tradespeople and other site personnel.
• Follow all WHS requirements and safe work procedures.
• Deliver work to required quality and project standards.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience as a Formworker or in a similar construction role.
• Practical experience constructing, installing and stripping formwork.
• Construction White Card.
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
• Confidence using relevant hand and power tools.
• Good understanding of construction site safety requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
• Reliable and punctual approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and broaden your skills.

What Will Set You Apart

• Strong commercial or civil formwork experience.
• Experience across slabs, footings, walls and structural formwork.
• Experience working on civil or commercial construction projects.
• Relevant trade qualifications or construction tickets.
• EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Space or other relevant tickets.
• Experience across different project environments.
• Ability to work confidently from drawings and specifications.
• A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider site team.
