McMahon Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Building & Construction team, supporting project delivery across Adelaide and Woomera.
This role offers a unique balance of metro and regional project exposure, working within a close-knit, community-focused environment while delivering a range of maintenance and construction works across defence and commercial sites.

About the Role
This hands-on role will see you managing a variety of works ranging from ongoing maintenance and minor works through to larger construction projects. You’ll work closely with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to deliver safe, compliant and high-quality outcomes.
The role offers flexibility around roster arrangements, with accommodation, LAHA and meal allowances provided when working onsite in Woomera.
What You’ll Do
- Manage maintenance and construction projects ranging from minor works through to larger projects
- Scope works, prepare tender letters and support estimating activities
- Lead and manage subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams
- Manage procurement, cost control, scheduling and contract administration
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Prepare weekly reports and communicate project updates effectively
- Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and contractual requirements
- Review and prepare JSAs and risk assessments
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in construction project delivery and site coordination
- Strong contract management and client liaison skills
- Ability to read and interpret plans and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Strong organisational and problem-solving capability
- Experience with MS Project, Outlook, Excel and Word
- Experience using Procore, Pronto or similar systems (desirable)
- Ability to obtain DCSI and Defence Clearance
