McMahon Services is seeking an experienced WHSEQ Advisor to join our Engineering & Projects team based in Adelaide.

This is a hands-on operational role supporting project delivery teams across a diverse portfolio of works. The successful candidate will partner closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Supervisors to drive safety performance, support compliance and contribute to successful project outcomes.

The role will initially support a major project in Mount Barker, with travel to project locations as required.

About the Role

Reporting to the WHSEQ Manager, you will work closely with operational teams to implement and maintain McMahon Services' WHSEQ systems across multiple projects.

We are seeking someone who is proactive, commercially aware, adaptable and able to think on their feet. This role requires a practical approach to problem solving and the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of a project team.

What You'll Do

• Support implementation of McMahon Services' Safety Program and WHSEQ systems
• Conduct site inspections, audits, safety observations and risk assessments
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
• Support development and maintenance of Project Risk Registers and WHSEQ Plans
• Participate in project meetings and engage directly with project teams
• Assist with SWMS, JSEAs and subcontractor onboarding activities
• Support project teams in achieving compliance and continuous improvement objectives
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a WHSEQ role
• Experience supporting construction, engineering, industrial or infrastructure projects
• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety
• Construction Industry White Card
• Current Driver's Licence and First Aid qualification
• Ability to travel to project locations including Mount Barker as required
• Strong understanding of WHSEQ principles and project delivery environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work autonomously while supporting multiple project teams
