About the Role

In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing leadership on all site activities in a close relationship and collaboration with the Project Management team. You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and on budget.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage the site team to ensure work is carried out to a high standard at all times
  • Foster a strong safety culture, making safety the number one priority 
  • Collaborate with project management team to ensure compliance with client & McMahon Services' processes
  • Training, mentor, lead & motivate staff on project sites
  • Ensure project is meeting time and resource management
  • Manage short term planning to ensure project milestones are achieved

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience in site management and project delivery within the construction sector
  • Construction trade qualified or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong understanding of construction programs and methodologies 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage teams and coordinate subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to obtain a defence clearance
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget
  • Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Aconex & MS Project
  • Proven track record of driving safety, quality and productivity outcomes
  • Leadership experience and the ability to mentor others.
