About the Role

In this role, you will play a crucial part in leading the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects across the Northern Territory. You'll be responsible for leading project teams, managing budgets, schedules and contracts, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects across the NT that contribute to the company's continued growth in the region. 

What You Will Do:

  • Manage project planning, delivery and commercial performance to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Lead by promoting a culture where safety always comes first
  • Collaborate with site teams, clients and subcontractors to achieve project milestones and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • Implement and maintain project control systems and reporting procedures for continuous improvement
  • Conduct regular project reviews and risk assessments and provide progress, financial and compliance reports to senior management

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience in project leadership and commercial management within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of Australian building codes, WHSEQ regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders and deliver multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a degree in construction management, Civil engineering or equivalent 
  • Ability to obtain defence clearance
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical

  • Demonstrated ability to drive complex projects through all phases while ensuring commercial success
  • Experience with project management and construction software such as MS Project, Aconex and Procore
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale project on time, within budget, and to strict quality and safety standards
  • Leadership experience and the ability to mentor others.
