  • Darwin, NT, Australia
  • Full time
View favourites

McMahon Services is continuing to grow our operations in the Northern Territory, and we’re looking for an experienced Site Manager or Supervisor to join our Darwin team.

While experience across demolition, asbestos or hazardous materials would be highly regarded, we’re also keen to hear from experienced Civil Site Managers and Supervisors who bring strong construction leadership, planning and people management capability.

For us, the ability to lead people, manage site delivery, coordinate subcontractors and resources, solve problems and create a strong safety culture is just as important as coming from one particular construction background.

If you’ve successfully managed civil construction sites and are confident you can bring those skills into a diverse project environment, we’d like to hear from you.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Darwin, offering project variety, a growing pipeline of work and the opportunity to build a long-term career with McMahon Services in the NT.

About McMahon Services

McMahon Services is one of Australia’s largest privately owned construction, industrial and environmental services organisations, employing more than 1,300 people across Australia.

Our teams deliver projects across civil infrastructure, demolition, remediation, asbestos and hazardous materials removal, industrial and construction services.

In the Northern Territory, our teams work across a diverse range of projects and environments, providing plenty of opportunity for people who enjoy variety, responsibility and being closely involved in project delivery.

About the Role

As a Site Manager or Supervisor, you’ll take responsibility for the safe and efficient day-to-day delivery of works across our Northern Territory operations.

You’ll coordinate crews, subcontractors, plant, equipment and resources while working closely with Project Managers and the wider delivery team.

We’re open to different backgrounds. You may be an experienced Civil Site Manager looking for a new challenge, a Supervisor ready to take on greater responsibility, or someone with specialist demolition or remediation experience looking to continue developing your career.

The common thread we’re looking for is strong site leadership and the ability to get the best out of people while delivering work safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor, Civil Supervisor, Foreman or similar construction leadership role.
  • Strong experience within civil construction, demolition, remediation, asbestos/hazardous materials or a related construction environment.
