McMahon Services is seeking experienced Site Supervisors to join our growing NSW team, with opportunities available in Sydney and Newcastle. Working across a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure projects, with exposure to demolition, remediation and environmental service streams, you will play a key role in leading site teams, coordinating subcontractors and delivering safe, efficient and high-quality project outcomes.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of civil construction works across a range of infrastructure projects. You will coordinate site crews, subcontractors, plant and resources while driving strong safety, quality and programme outcomes. Working closely with project teams and clients, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.

Positions are available in both Sydney and Newcastle and will primarily focus on civil construction works, with opportunities to support demolition, remediation and environmental service streams depending on project requirements. The role will involve supervising works across both day and night shifts, with strong communication, coordination and detailed handover reporting critical to success.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities across project sites.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, plant, materials and site resources.
• Drive WHS, environmental and quality compliance on site.
• Monitor progress and assist with programme delivery.
• Lead toolbox talks, pre-starts and site safety initiatives.
• Maintain site records, reporting and project documentation.
• Identify and escalate risks, delays, variations and opportunities.
• Build positive working relationships with project teams, subcontractors and clients.

What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated experience supervising civil infrastructure, construction or related projects.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a site supervision or similar role.
• Proven experience coordinating crews, subcontractors and site activities to achieve project outcomes.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, sequencing and delivery requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and escalate risks, delays and opportunities.
• Strong understanding of WHS, environmental and quality requirements within construction environments.
• Current Driver's Licence and the ability to obtain required Defence, project and site clearances.
