McMahon Services Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our Civil & Infrastructure team based in Adelaide, South Australia.

This role is responsible for supporting engineers and project teams through the preparation of drawings, documentation and design support for civil construction projects.

About the Role

This role is responsible for preparing drawings and documentation for civil works, including residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.

The position involves working under the supervision of engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet project specifications and client requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare detailed civil design drawings using AutoCAD
• Assist engineers with design development and documentation
• Draft plans for drainage, water supply and sewerage systems
• Review and amend drawings to meet project and client requirements
• Prepare as-built drawings and project documentation
• Liaise with engineers and project teams to resolve drawing-related issues
• Assist with surveys and preparation of survey reports where required

What You’ll Bring

• Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in civil drafting
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Strong organisational and communication skills
