  • Manage incident investigations, corrective actions and lessons learned initiatives to improve project safety performance.
  • Support the implementation of Safety Certainty 2.0, project WHSEQ management plans and company management systems.
  • Collaborate with project delivery teams and the broader WHSEQ function to ensure compliance with company, client and legislative requirements.
  • Support project teams with toolbox meetings, pre-starts, subcontractor onboarding and workforce engagement.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a WHSEQ, Safety Advisor or similar role.
  • Experience supporting civil construction, infrastructure, engineering or related projects.
  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
  • Construction Industry White Card, current Driver's Licence and First Aid qualification.
  • Strong understanding of WHSEQ principles, risk management and project delivery environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of a project team.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with operational and project teams.
  • A proactive approach to safety and a genuine commitment to fostering a positive safety culture.

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Civil construction or infrastructure project experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence positive safety outcomes through coaching and engagement.
  • Experience building strong relationships with operational teams and subcontractors.
  • A proactive approach to identifying risks and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • ICAM Investigation Training and/or auditing qualifications.
