McMahon Services is seeking motivated and experienced Event Infrastructure Installers to join our Major Events team.

This role is responsible for the construction, installation and dismantling of temporary event infrastructure including grandstands, seating systems, accessibility platforms, stair systems and roof structures for major events across Australia, including but not limited to metropolitan areas Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney and regional Areas such as Townsville, Roma, Narrabri and Bathurst.

Working alongside experienced supervisors and project teams, you will play a key role in ensuring event infrastructure is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

About the Role

As an Event Infrastructure Installer, you will be involved in the installation and dismantling of temporary event structures, working from design layouts and approved construction methodologies.

You will contribute to the delivery of major event projects while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.

What You'll Do

• Install and dismantle temporary event infrastructure including grandstands and roof systems
• Construct steel substructures, seating systems and accessibility platforms
• Read and interpret drawings, layouts and installation plans
• Install structural components, braces, decks, stairs and associated infrastructure
• Work safely at heights and in physically demanding environments
• Support event delivery schedules and project deadlines
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental and quality requirements
• Contribute positively to team performance and project outcomes

What You'll Bring

• Experience within temporary structures, event infrastructure, construction or similar industries
• Experience installing temporary seating, staging, scaffolding or event structures (desirable)
• Strong understanding of construction safety practices
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable work ethic and commitment to quality outcomes
• Construction White Card (Essential)
• Working at Heights certification (Essential)
