McMahon Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Building & Construction team, supporting project delivery across the Woomera Upper Spencer Gulf Region.

This role offers a unique balance of metro and regional project exposure, working within a close-knit, community-focused environment while delivering a range of maintenance and construction works across defence and commercial sites.

About the Role

This hands-on role will see you managing a variety of works ranging from ongoing maintenance and minor works through to larger construction projects. You’ll work closely with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to deliver safe, compliant and high-quality outcomes.

The role offers flexibility around roster arrangements, with accommodation, LAHA and meal allowances provided when working onsite in Woomera.

What You’ll Do

• Manage maintenance and construction projects ranging from minor works through to larger projects
• Scope works, prepare tender letters and support estimating activities
• Lead and manage subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams
• Manage procurement, cost control, scheduling and contract administration
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
• Prepare weekly reports and communicate project updates effectively
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and contractual requirements
• Review and prepare JSAs and risk assessments

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in construction project delivery and site coordination
• Strong contract management and client liaison skills
• Ability to read and interpret plans and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Strong organisational and problem-solving capability
• Experience with MS Project, Outlook, Excel and Word
• Experience using Procore, Pronto or similar systems (desirable)
• Ability to obtain DCSI and Defence Clearance
