This is a key operational leadership role overseeing workforce performance, planning, equipment utilisation, cost control and continuous improvement, supporting teams across day, night and weekend rosters. Local applicants are strongly preferred.

About the Role

Reporting to the Industrial Services Manager, you will take ownership of service delivery across multiple plant areas—leading supervisors and operators, coordinating resources, responding to unplanned work, and ensuring strong stakeholder engagement on site. You’ll play a central role in driving productivity improvements, uplifting capability, and maintaining a strong safety-first culture.

What You’ll Do

• Own day-to-day delivery of industrial cleaning services across multiple plant areas
• Lead supervisors and crews across 24/7 rosters, responding to breakdowns, call-ins and changing priorities
• Build, roster and deploy a capable local workforce to meet routine and reactive work demands
• Plan and coordinate weekly works, shutdowns and short-notice tasks with site stakeholders
• Drive safe execution through strong WHS leadership, field presence and disciplined work practices
• Manage equipment, labour and costs to maximise utilisation, productivity and service reliability

What You’ll Bring

• Leadership experience in industrial services, maintenance, cleaning services or heavy industry
• Proven ability to manage teams across varied shifts and high-risk environments
• Strong planning, scheduling and organisational capability
• Solid WHS knowledge and the confidence to lead safe work practices
• Commercial awareness with experience tracking labour, utilisation and operational costs
• Clear communication skills and strong stakeholder management

What Will Set You Apart

• Experience with vac trucks, combo units and/or hydro jetting operations
• Certificate IV in Leadership & Management (or equivalent)
• Experience managing KPI-driven contracts
• Port Pirie/local applicants strongly preferred
