McMahon Services is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Project Engineer – Civil & Infrastructure to support the delivery of major civil and infrastructure projects across South Australia.

This is a full-time, ongoing position that plays a critical role in project planning, coordination and execution. The role requires a high level of technical capability, strong safety leadership and experience delivering complex works in regulated environments.

About the Role

Reporting to a Project Manager, the Project Engineer supports the delivery of civil and infrastructure projects through detailed planning, documentation, cost control and coordination. The role contributes directly to meeting contractual, safety and quality requirements across multiple projects.

What You’ll Do

Support planning and delivery of civil and infrastructure projects within approved budgets and schedules

• Prepare and manage technical documentation, reports and quality assurance records
• Monitor project costs, forecasts and financial performance
• Support contract administration, procurement and subcontractor coordination
• Drive compliance with WHS, environmental and quality standards
• Liaise with project teams, clients and stakeholders to maintain delivery outcomes

What You’ll Bring

• Tertiary qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience supporting delivery of civil and infrastructure projects
• Strong capability in project documentation, scheduling and contract administration
• Sound understanding of Australian Standards and WHS legislation
• Proficiency in project and ERP systems (MS Project, Pronto, InEight, Aconex, Procore)
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• White Card, driver’s licence and ability to obtain required clearances
