McMahon Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Building & Construction team, delivering a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial and defence projects across South Australia and the Northern Territory.

About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will lead projects valued between $1M and $50M, managing teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure safe, high-quality and commercially successful outcomes. You’ll be involved early in project planning and design, contributing to cost certainty and delivery excellence across metro and regional projects.
What You’ll Do
- Manage projects from planning through to completion, ensuring scope, time and budget requirements are met
- Engage early in design development and costing alongside Estimating and clients
- Lead procurement, contract administration, cost control and project reporting
- Ensure strict compliance with WHS, quality and company systems
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams
- Provide clear, accurate and timely updates to stakeholders
- Contribute to portfolio growth and continuous improvement initiatives
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Coordinator with a head or managing contractor
- Proven delivery of commercial projects valued $5M–$30M+
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite
- Construction White Card, current driver’s licence and Australian citizenship (or eligibility for Defence security clearance)
What Will Set You Apart
- Experience using Procore, Aconex or similar project management platforms
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Pronto
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop project teams
