McMahon Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Building & Construction team, delivering a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial and defence projects across South Australia and the Northern Territory.

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will lead projects valued between $1M and $50M, managing teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure safe, high-quality and commercially successful outcomes. You’ll be involved early in project planning and design, contributing to cost certainty and delivery excellence across metro and regional projects.

What You’ll Do

• Manage projects from planning through to completion, ensuring scope, time and budget requirements are met
• Engage early in design development and costing alongside Estimating and clients
• Lead procurement, contract administration, cost control and project reporting
• Ensure strict compliance with WHS, quality and company systems
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams
• Provide clear, accurate and timely updates to stakeholders
• Contribute to portfolio growth and continuous improvement initiatives

What You’ll Bring

• Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Coordinator with a head or managing contractor
• Proven delivery of commercial projects valued $5M–$30M+
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite
• Construction White Card, current driver’s licence and Australian citizenship (or eligibility for Defence security clearance)

What Will Set You Apart

• Experience using Procore, Aconex or similar project management platforms
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Pronto
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop project teams
