About the Role

Join a skilled and supportive lifting team operating one of SA’s most diverse crane fleets. As a Crane Operator/Rigger with McMahon Services, you’ll work across construction, civil, demolition, marine, and industrial projects, giving you real variety and exposure to lifts you won’t find anywhere else.

With cranes ranging from 25T Frannas through to 300T Liebherrs, you’ll have the chance to operate serious gear while being backed by a close-knit team that values communication, reliability and doing the job safely every time.

You’ll work alongside experienced supervisors and riggers, tackling everything from everyday taxi work to engineered, high-profile lifts that challenge your technical skill and problem-solving ability.

What You Will Bring

• Current CO licence (C1 may be considered)
• Basic Rigging licence (Intermediate preferred)
• Working Safely at Heights certification
• WP licence (desirable)
• HR driver’s licence (HC Prefered)
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and professional conduct
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Previous demolition experience (advantageous)
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a cohesive crew
• Ability to work independently and maintain high standards without supervision
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and ongoing drug & alcohol testing
• Willingness to work away and undertake additional hours as required
