McMahon Services is seeking an experienced Industrial Cleaning Supervisor to lead and coordinate industrial cleaning crews across a major industrial site in Port Pirie, South Australia. This is a hands-on role for a practical leader who understands high-risk industrial work and thrives in dynamic, operational environments.

Working across rotating day, night and weekend shifts, you’ll provide frontline leadership, safety oversight and technical direction—ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to site expectations. Local applicants are strongly preferred.

About the Role

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you’ll supervise crews delivering a wide range of industrial cleaning services, including hydro-jetting, vacuum loading and confined space work. You’ll be on the ground each shift—allocating work, managing plant and equipment, responding to changing priorities and maintaining strong site relationships.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and supervise industrial cleaning crews across day, night and weekend shifts
• Run daily pre-starts, toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Allocate labour, plant and equipment to meet daily operational priorities
• Oversee safe execution of high-risk work including hydro-jetting, vacuum loading and confined space activities
• Respond to unplanned work, call-ins and shutdown support as required
• Complete daily reporting, timesheets and documentation while mentoring operators

What You’ll Bring

Essential

• Experience supervising field crews in industrial, construction, mining or maintenance environments
• Strong understanding of WHS requirements and safe work controls
• Ability to coordinate labour, equipment and workflows in high-risk settings
• Clear communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
• Physically fit for demanding industrial work

What Will Set You Apart

• High Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ) competency
• Vacuum loading / hydro-vac experience
• HR Truck Licence (or willingness to obtain)
• Confined Space Entry & Standby, Working at Heights
• Gas testing / atmospheric monitoring
• Frontline leadership or supervisory training
• Port Pirie/local applicants strongly preferred
• Flexible to work rotating shifts as required
